Audiences primary and secondary

• My primary audience is the a youthful age group towards a young adult stage (16-20)
• Very social aware and active on social media and that went or experineced parties, carnivals and festivals
• Predominantly a black intended audience 
• Secondary audience is from 21-26 which is a older audience however, they are still a young audience that experiences and enjoys the same upbeat and lively vibe as my music and music video will contain due to the afro beat conventions 

I have reseached and aksed three different people of different demographics about their input based around my music choice and my treatment. I have asked the same questions to ensure a continuity in initial response and feedback:what genre would you place it in? Afro beat

What would you expect to see in the music video? Vibrant bright colours/soft lighting,party settings- lots of people, dancing-performance, male/female protagonist, lip lynching 

Comments on the proposed form of the video after listening to the treatment? Bright colourful, festival, based around a relationship, coloured powder, voyeuristic women, hand held- audince position- realsistic

What would you expect to see in the music video? Mixture of males and females, vibrant lighting, performance shots, some narrative story, clubs+ beach settings 

Comments on the proposed form of the video after listening to the treatment? African culture, Dancing+ whining, women are presented voyeuristically

Overall, through the audience research and feedbacks I have learnt that I have achieved my intended primary and secondary audiences.

The artist of my music Ycee is signed at Tinny Entertainment where the music and artists are predominantly afro beat and african artists that produce similar music with similar conventions target the same audiences of young people from the ages of 16 to mid 20s; mostly from african backgrounds , but they still appeal to a wider audience of multi culture. Tinny Entertainment quotes "Tinny Entertainment is aimed at impacting the society by creating opportunities to talented individuals who don’t have the chance to exhibit their prowess." showing that they aim to bring forward new artists that struggle to outbreak from their lack of opportunity within society
